Martin Filippi: Word Play

A full-length stand-up comedy show by Martin Filippi.

Audience members can expect a barrage of wordplay and jokes on topics like relationships, family, health, the Czech language, and baldness. The word "girlfriend" will appear in every other sentence - by then she'll probably be his wife, but Martin likely won't get around to remembering that. Not that she'll be his wife, but that he should call her that.

The show runs 75 minutes and combines new and tried-and-tested jokes. You'll hear the word "jářku", while profanity is kept to a minimum. The audience is expected to have a basic knowledge of Czech - foreigners and Gen Z attend at their own risk of boredom.
