On Old Trees the Wind Reads a Poem
Wed, 23 Sep 2026 · 18:30
A literary evening in the castle garden dedicated to nature in all its forms. Poems, short stories and excerpts from well-known and lesser-known authors, where hares run, springs murmur, bleating of sheep echoes from the hills and crickets chirp from the bushes - nature both destructive and comforting, an unstable world that carries both beauty and unease.
The programme will include excerpts from Tove Jansson's stories, poems by Emily Dickinson, Jiří Orten, Jakub Deml, Walt Whitman, Louise Glück and Japanese haiku.
