Thankskilling Day: Exclusive Premiere (CreepyCon)

Six students decide to try an escape game - but this game has much darker rules and consequences than they expected. A legend from the communist era about catacombs and secret rooms beneath an old factory hall comes to life, and the fight for survival begins.

Thankskilling Day is a full-length horror film shot in English for an international audience, with distribution in the USA already secured. Behind the camera is director Petr Kubík (Cursed Princess 1 and 2, Eclipse) and co-writer/director JC Kovář. The main roles are played by Sára Korbelová, Vladimír Polívka, Ján Jackuliak and Aneta Kernová.

Kino Oslavany hosts an exclusive premiere - you will see the film here before it heads overseas. Immediately after the screening, a live discussion (Q&A) with screenwriter and director JC Kovář, actress Aneta Kernová and other crew members will take place in the cinema hall. The conversation will cover filming in underground spaces, the creation of masks and practical effects, and what it takes to target the American market directly. There will also be space for questions from the audience and poster signings.

Winners of non-commercial crew merchandise and a signed poster will be drawn from all tickets.
