Opening Day "...and No Other!" Slovak Scene Exhibition

The opening day of the "...and No Other!" exhibition connects two Brno exhibition venues - the House of Art and the House of the Lords of Kunštát. The exhibition presents works by over a hundred artists and is among the most comprehensive projects dedicated to contemporary Slovak artistic scene created in the Czech Republic in recent years. The curatorial team is Czech-Slovak, as is the exhibition's aim: to emphasize the necessity of cooperation between both cultural scenes.

The programme begins on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 3:00 PM at the House of Art with an opening address, followed by a concert by Viktor Ori. At 4:45 PM there will be a guided tour with the curators. At 5:00 PM the procession moves to the House of the Lords of Kunštát - the passage through the city will be accompanied by a performance by Immediatus Biennale, a dance procession and a manifesto of conscious body in public space.

At the House of the Lords of Kunštát the programme continues from 6:00 PM with an opening address and at 6:45 PM with curatorial commentary. From 7:00 PM, SZČO and Dohodárka will perform with a musical performance that ironically addresses working conditions in Slovak cultural work - uncertainty, fees and bureaucracy. At 8:00 PM the band Longital will play, presenting their fourteenth album "Landscape Runs Down Its Own Shore" on this occasion. The evening will conclude with a DJ.
