Energy of Voices: Andrea Kalivodova & Noema Erba

The title "Energy of Voices" reflects the contrast between Andrea Kalivodova's dynamic mezzo-soprano and Noema Erba's more ethereal soprano - two distinct voices that complement each other on stage.

Performers:

Andrea Kalivodova is a soloist at the National Theatre Prague and a leading Czech mezzo-soprano. Among her most renowned roles is Carmen, which she has performed on many stages throughout the Czech Republic and abroad. She is active in concert performances, collaborates with artists of various genres, and heads the classical singing department at the International Conservatory Prague. She has released the CDs "Paths of Love" and "My Best".

Noema Erba is a Czech opera soprano who works primarily abroad. She has performed at Carnegie Hall in New York, in Santiago de Chile, Manila, and Taichung, Taiwan. On opera stages, she has appeared at the State Opera Banská Bystrica, Teatro Verdi in Pisa, the J. K. Tyl Theatre in Plzeň, and the Amman Opera Festival in Jordan. Recently, she has also been performing in Prague - at the Žofín Palace, St. Clement's Cathedral, and the Municipal House.

Kristina Marková has performed at festivals in the Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Japan, and Russia, and has completed international master classes under the guidance of V. Ashkenazi, M. Perahia, I. Klánský, and others. As a soloist, she has collaborated with the Pardubice Chamber Philharmonic, Hradec Králové Philharmonic, Plzeň Philharmonic, Karlovy Vary Symphony Orchestra, and the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra Academy. In 2013, she and her colleagues received the "ISA Challenge - Klavierkammermusik" award for their performance of D. Shostakovich's Piano Trio No. 2. She currently works in the piano accompaniment department at the Prague Conservatory and HAMU.
