A chamber evening in the Theresian Hall of Břevnov Monastery presents a programme devoted to the music of František Vincenc Kramář, Bernhard Henrik Crusell, and Gideon Klein.

Clarinetist Irvin Venyš, violinist Iva Kramperová, violist Kristina Fialová, and cellist Hana Baboráková will perform. The programme combines the classical elegance of Kramář and Crusell with the music of Gideon Klein, one of the most distinctive figures in Czech music of the first half of the 20th century.

About the venue: Břevnov Monastery

Břevnov Monastery is the oldest male Benedictine monastery in Bohemia, founded in 993 by Prince Boleslav II and Bishop Vojtěch (Adalbert). The current baroque complex was designed by Johann Blasius Santini-Aichel and Kryštof Dientzenhofer in the 18th century. The monastery remains an active monastic community and hosts cultural events, guided tours, and concerts.
