Book Lovers' Gathering: Pavel Buňata - Worn by Love — Letná Water Tower, Prague

Pavel Buňata, also writing under the pseudonym Ad Meer, is a Czech poet, lyricist, publicist, television editor and screenwriter. Born on April 19, 1969 in Chomutov, he focuses his work on relationship poetry and intimate emotions, delivered with boldness, humor and unexpected sincerity - he describes himself as a "pessimistic optimist without a dog". His style is marked by wordplay and the ability to touch the depths without pathos.

From his literary work: A Woman with a Bad Reputation (2000) is a biography of Kateřina Kornová. Life is Boy (2010) is a collection of aphorisms and poems mapping the author's work from puberty to age 40. AMORtization (2025), published under the pseudonym Ad Meer, is a loose continuation of the previous collection - the title is graphically designed to evoke "worn by love". The book contains aphorisms, poems, song lyrics and verses for children.

Buňata is also the author of song lyrics for numerous Czech performers: he wrote "Není taková" for Hana Zagorová on the album I'm Not Afraid (2018), and has also written texts for Heidi, Jana Chládková, Klára Kolomazníková / HOLKI /, Jiřina Anna Jandová and Dáša Zázvůrková. In the 1990s he was a prominent figure in the monthly magazine SOHO revue, worked for many years as an editor and screenwriter at Prima television, and collaborates with the portal krasnapani.cz.
