The Big Lebowski

Jeff "The Dude" Lebowski is the laziest guy in Los Angeles and its surroundings. He loves bowling, a cocktail called the White Russian, marijuana, and his carpet. But due to a name mix-up, he's mistaken for a wealthy man who, through an incredible chain of coincidences, becomes the victim of extortion. Instead of the real wealthy Lebowski paying for the soiled carpet, Jeff and his incompetent friends must deliver a ransom for his spoiled daughter. Everything might have gone smoothly if Jeff's buddy Walter (John Goodman) hadn't decided to pocket the ransom money without regard for the consequences.
