Made in Czechoslovakia 1983. Jirka Čevela has been playing musical instruments since the age of fifteen - he is the founder and frontman of the band Circus Problem and has been performing solo with his own compositions since 2023. In his songs he blends chanson, Balkan, rock and folk, and alongside composing he dedicates himself to songwriting and searching for stories.

He is currently preparing his first solo album. In January 2026 he released the single Lesem, and now another one is coming out - V nebi nad polem.

About the venue: Ponava Cafe

Ponava Cafe is a café and music club on the edge of Lužánky park in central Brno, right next to the conservatory. It offers specialty coffee, quality beer, and a varied cultural programme focused on jazz, alternative, folk, and blues. The intimate interior hosts small concerts, author readings, and exhibitions, while in summer events move outdoors. The venue organises the annual four-day Ponava Fest and also runs the online Radio Ponava.
