LAB4TOOLS

A series of open workshops. Performer's laboratory: movement, voice, text, improvisation, sharing, creative development and stage sensitivity.

The workshop is designed as an open laboratory focused on spontaneous composition (dance improvisation). In a semi-closed environment, it creates space for meeting, play and developing creative skills - we work with movement, voice and text. We pay attention to stage presence, the ability to listen and respond in real time, as well as quality, focus and playfulness. The workshop draws on the long-term performative and pedagogical practice of the instructors and their experience with somatic approaches and improvisation.

It is intended for everyone with professional performance experience who wants to deepen or verify it, as well as those just beginning. Musicians playing any instrument who want to cultivate improvisation with movement are also welcome.

Classes are led by Mish Rais and Jana Novorytová in Czech and English.
