O Brother, Where Art Thou?

Mississippi, the 1930s. Three escaped convicts - Everett Ulysses McGill, Pete, and Delmar - chained together, flee across the countryside in search of a treasure worth 1.2 million dollars. Along the way they meet bluesman Tommy Johnson, who joins them. Together they record a song at a local music publisher that becomes an overnight hit in the South. But obtaining the treasure and surviving encounters with the Ku Klux Klan and relentless police pursuit won't be easy.
