A literary-historical walking tour with Lukáš Gliniarczyk and Ostrava writers tracing the history of Hotel Palace and its famous "American Café" - a gathering place for the interwar Ostrava bohemia.

Capacity is limited; advance booking is required through the reservation system at klubfiducia.cz - bookings open on 25 September 2026. The event is organized in cooperation with the building's owner, Antracit company.

Fotografická galerie Fiducia was founded in 2001 by photographers Roman Polášek and Martin Popelář, in the upper floor of Ostrava's Antikvariát a klub Fiducia. One of the few galleries in the Czech Republic devoted exclusively to photography, it covers monographic shows of Czech and international photographers alongside multimedia installations and new media. The gallery deliberately makes room for young artists and art-school students, not just established names. The Ministry of Culture grant commission named it the best gallery project in the country in 2010, 2011 and 2013.
