Tukino 2026 / Tukino Visibility Award Ceremony

The Tukino Visibility Award is a festival award created in response to the long-standing lack of authentic representation of minorities in Czech and Slovak audiovisual media.

It honours films, series, and creators who portray otherness with sensitivity, authenticity, and without exploitation. The award is given in two categories - for best Roma representation and for best minority representation. Winners are decided by an expert jury and laureates receive an original sculpture by Roma artist Maxim Muchow.
