Divadlo Exil in Pardubice commemorates the 90th birthday of Václav Havel with a discussion and theatrical performance. The event is organized together with Million Moments for Democracy and MY Theatre from Opatovice nad Labem, and is registered as an anniversary event with the Dagmar and Václav Havel VIZE 97 Foundation. Part of the proceeds will go to People in Need.

Evening programme:
17:00 - Remembering Václav Havel - discussion with guests Michael Kocáb and Natália Kocábová
19:30 - Václav Havel: Audience - MY Theatre, Opatovice nad Labem

Audience is a tragicomic one-act play about hopelessness and absurdity. "Let us try to be fools and ask with all seriousness for the change of what is supposedly unchangeable."

About the venue: Exil Theatre (Machoňova pasáž)

Divadlo Exil is a non-professional repertory theatre in the centre of Pardubice with over twenty years of history. Since October 2021 it has been located in the basement of the Machoňova Passage on třída Míru. The ensemble specialises in contemporary drama – comedies, dramas and devised theatre. In addition to its own productions, the venue hosts guest companies, concerts, readings and exhibitions.
