Dutch author Enne Koens presents her book "Sam and Grandpa" at the festival "Children, Read?! 2026" - a story about a grandfather whose storytelling blurs the line between reality and fantasy.

The author reading is intended for children from 6 years old and takes place in Czech and Dutch. The venue is wheelchair accessible.

About the venue: Werichova vila

Werich Villa (also known as Dobrovský's Cottage) is a historic listed building on Prague's Kampa island, with origins dating to the 17th century. The building originally served as a tannery, later belonged to the Nostitz family and was home to Josef Dobrovský. From 1945 until his death in 1980, actor Jan Werich lived here. Today it is run by the Jan and Meda Mládek Foundation as a multicultural arts centre with a permanent exhibition, theatre performances, concerts and workshops.
