Ecstatic Dance Brno | Guy Barrington (UK)

Ecstatic Dance Brno launches its new indoor season on Sunday, 27 September at Šambala yoga studio in Královo Pole. The project returns to a smaller format with capacity limited to 44 places; the first 20 tickets are available at early-bird price.

The entire evening is hosted by Guy Barrington (UK), also known as DJ Colibri - one of the pioneers of Ecstatic Dance in the Czech Republic who has guided dancers on their journeys for three decades. He has studied shamanism, Biodanza, qi-gong, tantra, and dream work, sharing his practice across the Czech Republic, Scandinavia, the Netherlands, France, Canada, Ireland, and the UK.

Ecstatic Dance is a free-form dance experience without drugs or alcohol - you dance barefoot, without your phone, with no need to know any steps. The evening follows this schedule: 17:30 space opens, 18:30 group opening, 19:00 Ecstatic Dance (Guy Barrington), 21:30 closing circle with music, 22:00 end. Cacao will be available on site, and the studio has showers and changing rooms. Bring comfortable clothing, a water bottle, and optionally something to share.
