Architecture Day: Brno - New Trnitá District
Terasy pod Petrovem u Papežského kříže, Brno
Architect Michal Sedláček will present the planned Trnitá district - one of Brno's largest urban transformations in the near future.
The construction of a new main railway station opens space for a district designed to connect the station with the city's historic centre while offering housing, work, and entertainment for 15,000 residents. The presentation will cover the entire development of the area: from changes in the 1970s through the planned completion in 2035, including specific projects - the new Dornych, a flood park, the new station design, and the relocation of the Zvonařka bus station.
Views of the future district will be available directly from Petrov.
