Connecting/Stations

A site-specific performance by the Slovak dance collective Tanečno and the Czech association MOVE Ostrava transforms Bohumín Railway Station into a stage for contemporary dance.

The project Connecting/Stations was created based on the concept of Slovak choreographer and performer Andrej Štepita, who noticed during his travels that places where hundreds of strangers pass daily offer a natural space for art. The choreography draws from everyday movement and partner dance work - it does not tell stories, but unfolds directly among the audience, regardless of generational, social, or national differences.

Tickets operate on a pay-what-you-can basis - each person chooses from the offered prices according to their own means.
