Jan Musil: Mami, Book Launch

"Mami" - how we address the first person in our lives. In his second poetry collection, Jan Musil sometimes bluntly reproaches, often sneaks in a smile, but with deceptively sparse language keeps asking the same questions: How can we reach reconciliation amid all the hatred before it's too late? And what if for some things it already is too late, but that's somehow okay?

Jan Musil (1993) published the collection Poslední život: Bildungspoema z minulosti a budoucnosti. His dissertation focused on thanatography and he has translated works including Duncan Macmillan's drama Monstrum.

The book launch is organized by Revue Prostor and Paradox publishing house, with Kryštof Eder as moderator. Literary evenings in HYB4 Čítárna are realized with financial support from Prague City Hall, the Ministry of Culture, and the Czech State Fund for Culture.
