Through the Curators' Eyes: Transformations of the Asian Art Exhibition Across Space and Time - Japanese Art

A guided tour of the permanent exhibition "Asian Art Across Space and Time" focusing on floral and landscape elements in Korean and Japanese painting rooted in Chinese literary tradition. The tour will examine Kim Yut'ak's work "Orchid" and Yamazaki Unzan's "Waterfall Observation" - the tour takes place before the autumn rotation of light-sensitive works. Led by Jana Ryndová, curator of the Asian Art Collection at the National Gallery.
