CAMP Tour: Trojská kotlina — Old Wastewater Treatment Plant, Prague

Trojská kotlina is one of Prague's most valuable natural areas and also serves as a wastewater treatment site for the entire metropolis. This walk will focus on the planned revitalization of Caesar Island, restoring a more natural appearance to the Vltava riverbanks, and integrating flood protection, technical infrastructure, biodiversity, and recreation. Architect Marek Kundrata from the Office of Public Space at IPR Prague will present specific interventions in the area and Prague's broader approach to the river as a living part of the urban landscape.

The walk is part of Climate Week Prague 2026.

Meeting point is at the main entrance to the Old Wastewater Treatment Plant in Bubeneč. Sturdy footwear is required - part of the route crosses unpaved terrain. The walk will last approximately 1.5 hours and takes place outdoors. By attending CAMP events, you consent to the publication of photographs and video recordings.
