Zdeněk Konopásek (born 1963, Karlovy Vary) is a Czech drummer and sociologist. In the 1980s he co-founded the alternative band Dvouletá fáma twice over, played with the ensemble Zátory, and collaborated with Oldřich Janota. As a researcher at the Centre for Theoretical Study (Charles University / Czech Academy of Sciences) he works on the sociology of science and actor-network theory. Today he drums in the band Kolna, serves as second drummer for the Karlovy Vary psychedelic rock group Fish, Flesh, Field & Henry $, keeps the Noční pták project alive with Luboš Fidler, and has long been the resident musician of the improvised theatre Divadlo Vizita.

    Konopásek will perform with the band Kolna at a memorial evening dedicated to Radomil Uhlíř at Prague's Čítárna Unijazz (September 1, 2025).

    Kolna performed at a Polí5 publishing evening at Prague's Unijazz together with the band B4 and Ženy Tribute Band (June 6, 2025).

    In April 2025, Konopásek participated in a production of Plato's Apology of Socrates at the ABZAC cultural center in Brno, where he performed on percussion the role of the people of Athens.

    The digital album Protorituál was released on Polí5 - an improvised duet by Konopásek with saxophonist Jan Štolba, recorded in May 2023 in Zadní Třebani.

    The project Noční pták (Konopásek & Luboš Fidler) released the album Prach on Polí5, recorded in August 2023 at the Albern studio in Albeř.
