Volkan Caner is a Turkish musician, vocalist and guitarist, one half of the dark wave / post-punk duo She Past Away. Formed alongside drummer and synthesizer player Doruk Ozturkcan, the band is known for its minimalist guitar sound layered with synth textures and Turkish-language poetry. Their debut album "Belirdi Gece" (2012) brought them international recognition in the dark wave scene.
