Vojtěch Bureš is the frontman, vocalist and guitarist of Czech rock trio Doctor Victor, which he founded in Prague in 2012. The band has opened for AC/DC, Deep Purple and Jack White, and worked with musicians from the circles of Prince and Michael Jackson. Bureš studied at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory and holds a scholarship from Berklee College of Music in Boston; he recorded the album 2nd Prescription entirely by himself as a multi-instrumentalist at Abbey Road Studios in London.
Doctor Victor concluded the 2nd Prescription Tour with a concert in Vysoké Mýtě, where the band also celebrated the title of Discovery of the Year in the Žebřík competition.
