Vepřové komety is a nine-piece Czech funk band drawing on the raw energy of James Brown and the guitar-driven sound of Red Hot Chili Peppers. Active since 2004, they blend funk with rap, jazz and folk, wrapped in playful, surrealist Czech lyrics. Their debut album "Funkční ze mě" came out in 2017; the second album "Nekrmte monstra" is released on vinyl in 2026 via Polí5.
