About

VANAHEIM is a Czech heavy/power metal band from Chlumec nad Cidlinou, founded in December 2015 by drummer Libor Král and guitarist Martin Drobný. All lyrics are sung in Czech and draw on Norse mythology and Viking culture. Over a decade the band has released four full-length albums and one EP, played major Czech festivals including Metalfest and Masters of Rock, and in 2025 put out their fifth record, Devět světů, supported by an eight-date tour.
