Valentinian Dissonance is a Czech-Polish project straddling neofolk, doomjazz, drone and noise. It grew out of a 2023 improvised set by Dave Tichý (Further Down) and Grzegorz Ćwieluch (Skalpy z Drzew), with the two collaborating remotely between Tallinn and Warsaw. Their output includes a split tape on the Bratislava label Jablka Daleko Od Stromu and the LP "Stygian Blues" - dark, syncretic music drawing on niche cinema and the existential weight of city life.
