Václav Tobrman (born 15 November 1983 in Rakovník) is a Czech pianist, singer, multi-instrumentalist, lyricist and actor. He placed third in the Pianist of the Year competition in 2013 and second in 2014 - a contest judging pianists on stylistic versatility across pop, jazz, musical theatre and folk. Alongside an active club and concert career, he served as répétiteur at the International Conservatory Prague and has appeared at the State Opera Prague; since 2023 he also acts at Divadlo Na Jezerce, for which he composed the incidental music for the play Bylo nás pět (tenkrát).
Václav Tobrman composed the stage music for the new production of Batman at the Na Jezerce Theatre, which premiered on December 5, 2024.
Tobrman performed as musical accompaniment for the impro talk show Just! Impro group at Malostranská Beseda in October 2024.
At the Na Jezerce Theatre, the world premiere of the production There Were Five of Us (back then) took place on November 15, 2023, for which Tobrman composed the music and in which he also plays one of the leading roles.
Tobrman was a guest on a program at the Czech Radio Dvojka station, where he spoke about his musical career, teaching, and the development of communication skills.
Tobrman provided musical accompaniment for the program Alena Zárybnická's Hobbies on June 25 and December 29, 2023.
