Tyjátr pana Šedopláště

About

TyJátr pana Šedopláště is an original family puppet theatre from Libouchec in the Ústí nad Labem region, founded in autumn 2022 by Eva and Václav Novák, both teachers. Václav writes the fairy-tale scripts and songs, Eva builds the puppets and paints the sets - every element is their own work. The company performed at the national Loutkářská Chrudim festival in 2025, having earned a nomination from the regional qualifying round.

The theater performed at the "Night of Dreams" event at the Děčín Zoo for visitors with disabilities with the fairy tale "Jouhou, brum, brum!" (June 6, 2025).

The production "Jouhou, brum, brum!" received a nomination for the 74th Loutkářská Chrudim and was included in the main program of the festival.
