Tomáš Havlen is a Czech singer, producer, and mixing engineer - one half of the alt-pop duo post-hudba and a co-founder of the community label Bad Names. Over fifteen years on the Czech independent scene, he built his reputation largely behind the boards, working with artists such as Dukla, Katarzia, and Anki. In March 2026 he stepped out as a solo artist with his debut album Minulá noc je jak jinej život, a Czech-language alternative R&B record exploring fatherhood, intimacy, and the fragility of relationships.
Post-hudba released an acoustic album on July 13, 2026, composed of older songs in new arrangements, and is preparing an autumn tour starting on September 25 with a premiere at Prague's MeetFactory.
Havlen's debut solo album Minulá noc je jak jinej život was released on March 6, 2026 on the Bad Names label and contains ten songs recorded in his studio in Prague's Libni.
Before the album's release, he presented the single Montevideo - a disturbing lullaby about parental fear of war, for which Cyril Škoch directed the music video.
Even before his debut, he released the single Někde cestou in April 2025, which foreshadowed the sonic direction of the upcoming album.
