The Selva is a Portuguese improvisation trio featuring Ricardo Jacinto (cello and electronics), Gonçalo Almeida (double bass and electronics), and Pedro Oliveira (drums and electronics). Founded in 2016, the group works at the intersection of improvised music, electroacoustics, and minimalism. They have released four albums, including a collaboration with Machinefabriek.
