The Risen Dread are a death/groove metal band from Dublin, Ireland, formed in 2018. They broke out of the Irish underground to play Wacken Open Air in 2022, toured Europe alongside Vader and Marduk, and hit South America in 2024. Their second album, Death From Above, came out in June 2025 on Time To Kill Records, produced by Marco Mastrobuono (Fleshgod Apocalypse) at Bloom Studios in Rome.

In May 2025, the band released the single 'The Day I Died' as the second track from the upcoming album.
In March 2025, Time To Kill Records announced the signing of a contract with the band and the release of the album Death From Above.
In summer 2025, the band performed a European tour with Ungolianth, which included stops in Lithuania, Poland, Germany, and France.
In 2024, the band released the single 'Betrayal' and performed an extensive South American tour in Colombia, Argentina, Chile, and Brazil.
