Tantrum Desire is the project of London-based producer and DJ Jay Faleye, formed around 2004 in south-east London. The project broke through on Technique Recordings with the worldwide anthem 'Reach' (2011), which held the number one spot on Beatport for over a month and surpassed a million YouTube views. The 2015 debut album Diversified was nominated for Best Album at the Bass Music Awards and cemented Tantrum Desire's place at the harder, dancefloor end of the British drum and bass scene.
In December 2025, Tantrum Desire released the single 'Forget It / Killerz' (feat. Madishu) on Technique Recordings.
In August 2025, the single 'Concentrate' was released on Technique Recordings.
In May 2025, Tantrum Desire released a single with vocalist Ayah Marar on Technique Recordings.
In February 2025, the single 'Override' was released on Technique Recordings and was included in Beatport's selection of the best DnB tracks of 2025.
In July 2024, Tantrum Desire released the single 'Your Lovin' on Technique Recordings.
