Studio 60+

About

Studio 60+ is an amateur theatre ensemble for seniors, founded in January 2023 at Divadlo Husa na provázku in Brno. It draws on the legacy of Eva Tálská's Studio Dům, but opens the stage to people over sixty - giving them a chance to work with various artists connected to the Provázek theatre and to speak about their own lives. The ensemble focuses on devised productions with documentary elements, pushing back against the idea that old age is passive or purely backward-looking.
