About

Stuart McCallum is a Manchester-based guitarist, composer and producer whose work sits at the crossroads of jazz, electronica and folk. He came to wider attention as a member of The Cinematic Orchestra, contributing to the albums Ma Fleur and Live at the Royal Albert Hall, and later co-founded the duo The Breath with singer Ríoghnach Connolly, releasing three albums on Peter Gabriel's Real World Records and earning a BBC Folk Award nomination. His solo output includes the Solitude series of acoustic EPs on Edition Records, and he holds a doctorate in musical composition from the Royal Northern College of Music.
