Stuart McCallum ist ein in Manchester ansässiger Gitarrist, Komponist und Produzent, dessen Musik Jazz, Elektronik und Folk miteinander verwebt. Bekannt wurde er als Mitglied von The Cinematic Orchestra - er spielte auf Ma Fleur und Live at the Royal Albert Hall - und als Mitgründer des Duos The Breath mit Sängerin Ríoghnach Connolly, das drei Alben auf Peter Gabriels Real World Records veröffentlichte und für den BBC Folk Award nominiert wurde. Sein Soloprojekt Solitude erscheint auf Edition Records; 2020 schloss er seinen Kompositionsdoktorat am Royal Northern College of Music ab.
