About
Sofian Medjmedj (born 1 August 2001, Prague) is a Czech pop singer, songwriter and musician of Czech-Algerian descent, working across pop, R&B and rap. He broke through in 2017 with the single TV Shows, recorded alongside Ben Cristovao at Abbey Road Studios in London as the winner of the Vodafone #JETOVTOBĚ competition. His debut album 19 (2021) earned him the Objev roku (Discovery of the Year) award at the Český slavík poll, and he has since become one of the fastest-rising names in Czech pop.
