About

Smoked Salmon is an Australian music collective led by Kim Salmon (born 1957, Perth), a veteran of the country's underground rock scene whose band The Scientists is widely credited as a forerunner of grunge. Salmon also co-founded Beasts of Bourbon and fronted Kim Salmon & The Surrealists; in 2004 he was inducted into the West Australian Music Industry Association Hall of Fame. Smoked Salmon operates as an international collective drawing on musicians from Australia and France - the self-titled debut appeared in February 2025 on Cheersquad Records & Tapes, followed by the second album Totally Sick!! in May 2026.
