The Smetana Mixed Choir of Hradec Králové is an amateur vocal ensemble founded in 1922, with around 45 active singers. Its repertoire spans from the Renaissance to contemporary choral music, with a focus on large-scale sacred works - including Ryba's Czech Christmas Mass, a staple of its programme. Since 2014 the choir has been directed by Jan Jiráček, and it performs regularly across Europe.
