Silver Band is a rock group from Boskovice, founded in 1982, that became a cult fixture of the Moravian music scene despite repeated attempts by the communist regime to shut them down. After disbanding in 2000 and a brief comeback in 2014-2015, the band continues today as a revival lineup keeping more than twenty original songs alive. In recent years they have been notable for merging rock with cutting-edge technology - producing the first concert livestream in the EU in 4K/50p resolution, and in 2023 staging the ART BRIDGE project, where musicians in Prague, Brno and Zlín performed together in real time over the internet.
Silver Band performed at the third edition of the Silver Fest 2025 festival in Panský dvůr in Boskovice (22.-23. 8. 2025).
The band performed the ART BRIDGE project (2. 5. 2023) at the JAMU Na Orlí theater in Brno, where musicians from Prague and Zlín performed in real time via the internet on LED screens on stage.
For the band's 40th anniversary, the concert album Live 4k was released, recorded during an online stream in April 2021, also available on Spotify and Apple Music.
Silver Band conducted the Video Art Tour 2022 together with the band Futurm, during which they transferred visuals from artists from the online stream to live stages.
The online concert Live 4k (17. 4. 2021) became the historically first concert stream in the EU broadcast in 4K/50p resolution on YouTube.
