Shinshan Salazar, born Jean Salazar Tavera, is an Amsterdam-based DJ and producer with Cuban roots. His sets weave together batida, bubbling, baile funk, UK garage and breakbeats, drawing on diaspora sounds and global club culture. He also releases music as STRAYDOG and is a regular on the Amsterdam scene, including the Amsterdam Dance Event.
