Šamat is a rock band from Valašské Klobouky in the Moravian Wallachia region, playing original material since 2009. The band has released two studio albums - the debut "V zajetí doby" (2019) and "Hora Ruit" (2023) - and won the Czech-Slovak talent competition Muzikomat in 2017.
The band Šamat performed at Valašské Kumštování in Valašských Kloboukách (21. 6. 2025) and is preparing for Valašský Pivní Košt there (19. 7. 2025).
In September 2024, the band performed again at the Valašské záření festival in Vsetín.
The band christened their second album Hora Ruit at the Klobučan cultural center in Valašských Kloboukách.
The release of the album Hora Ruit is accompanied by a music video for the song "Za lesem".
