Rest, born Adam Chlpík on 21 July 1986 in Trenčín, is a Czech rapper and MC who has recorded under the Ty Nikdy label since 2010. He first made his name on the freestyle battle circuit - winning the Art Attack Freestyle Battle in Slovakia in 2008 among other titles - before his debut album Premiéra with DJ Fatte (2010) established him as one of the leading voices in Czech hip-hop. His catalogue includes Střepy (2013), Restart (2018), Tlak with DJ Wich (2022), and the collaborative project A)TÝM with Kato of Prago Union (2024).
Rest (Adam Chlpík) participated in the reality show Survivor Česko & Slovensko on TV Nova and Oneplay in February 2026.
Rest performed at the Prague Sounds festival and talked about the upcoming show and authenticity in rap in the music program Refresher OFFSTAGE.
At the end of 2024, Rest released the single 52 řádků produced by Maryse.
