Maniak, born Jiří Veselý on 2 November 1992 in Brno, is a Czech rapper of Russian heritage - his mother is Russian, his father Czech, and he spent part of his childhood in Omsk, Siberia. Active since 2015 under the Bigg Boss label, he is one of the established names on the Czech hip-hop scene, known for sharp freestyles, fast flow and multilingual tracks in Czech, Russian and French. He was the first Czech rapper to appear on the legendary French show Planète Rap.

    In February 2026, he released the album StreamTape - recorded it live during a ten-day stream from a Prague villa in collaboration with Warner Music, with proceeds going to the organization Život 90.
