About

Projekt Parabelum is a Prague-based band founded in 2001 by members of Kurtizány z 25. Avenue and Anarchuz, blending metalcore, punk and electronic elements into a raw, hard-edged sound. Over more than two decades they have become a fixture of the Czech punk and hardcore festival circuit. Their live show draws on a fictional video-game aesthetic, with costumes and lighting as integral parts of the performance. Their most recent album is JunkTown (2019).

  • 2024

    The band released the single Černý wigwam, their latest studio work after the album JunkTown.

  • 2023

    In 2023, the single Covidarium was released, the second new material after the pandemic break.

  • 2026

    The project Parabelum is included in the line-up of the Keltská noc 2026 festival in Vysokém nad Jizerou.

  • 2022-02

    In February 2022, the band celebrated 20 years of existence with a concert at Prague's Rock Café with guests E.O.S. and Konfront.
