Pražská dixielandová společnost (PDS) is a Prague-based dixieland band founded in 2017 by trumpeter Jakub Ševčík. The group brings together young musicians who share a passion for jazz from the 1920s and 30s, playing it in the classic New Orleans lineup of trumpet, clarinet, trombone, banjo, sousaphone, drums and piano. Collective improvisation sits at the heart of their sound.
