Pino Ammendola

Pino Ammendola (born Giuseppe Ammendola, 2 December 1951, Naples) is an Italian actor, playwright, voice actor and film director whose career spans more than five decades. He made his screen debut in 1966 alongside Nino Manfredi in Dino Risi's Operazione San Gennaro, and has since worked with directors including Lina Wertmüller, Tinto Brass and Giuseppe Tornatore. As a playwright he has written and directed over twenty comedies, several of which became films; his play Na Vánoce budu gay! is currently touring Czech theatres.
