Peter Dvorský is a Slovak operatic tenor who rose to international fame in the 1970s and 80s. He performed at the Vienna Staatsoper, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, and worked with conductors including Herbert von Karajan. His voice was particularly admired in the Italian repertoire of Verdi and Puccini.
