Patrik Pelikán (born 1987 in České Budějovice) is a Czech visual artist and graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. He works with drawing and sculptural principles, yet creates neither pictures nor sculptures but Environments - site-specific installations that respond to the character of a building and quietly develop its specific elements. He transposes the basic technique of drawing into raw building materials such as mortar, and works as a bricklayer alongside his art practice. His exhibitions include Skluz, Spád, Schodek and Napříč.
