OSZILOT is a Swiss experimental duo formed by media artists Luc Gut and Rolf Hellat in early 2021 in Zurich. They suspend everyday objects on strings and use gyroscopic motion sensors to turn them into pendulum sound sculptures, generating shifting rhythms, soundscapes and abstract musical structures at the intersection of sound art, kinetics and experimental electronics. The project received an Honorary Mention at the Prix Ars Electronica 2023 in the Digital Musics & Sound Art category, and has performed at venues including Kunsthaus Zürich, Haus der Elektronischen Künste Basel, and festivals such as Ars Electronica in Linz and NEXT in Bratislava. Their debut album Verlorene Dinge was released in January 2026.
OSZILOT released their first album Verlorene Dinge on the Bandcamp platform.
OSZILOT received an honorable mention at Prix Ars Electronica 2023 in the Digital Musics & Sound Art category and performed at the Ars Electronica festival in Linz.
The duo performed at the NEXT 2023 festival at Kunsthalle Bratislava.
